Notable decisions and actions in this issue include:

• The U.S. Supreme Court overturned the Chevron doctrine, restricting the power of federal agencies to regulate.
• The U.S. Supreme Court clarified that the standard for evaluating whether a restriction on firearm possession violates the U.S. Constitution Second Amendment should involve whether the restriction is relatively similar to other laws in the historical tradition of firearm regulation. 
• The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas issued an injunction preventing the enforcement of 2021 U.S. Department of Education guidance documents addressing the scope of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 against Texas community colleges.
