Texas Association of Community College Attorneys
Providing practical training, insights, and resources to Texas community college attorneys.
Texas Association of Community College Attorneys (TACCA) is membership program comprised of attorneys who represent Texas public community colleges and who are seeking practical training, insights, and resources to help their clients navigate complicated legal situations. TACCA provides members access to timely legal resources, continuing legal education programs, and opportunities for attorneys to connect and build relationships with other community college lawyers.
TACCA hosts an annual conference for community college board members, administrators, staff, and attorneys. After every legislative session, TACCA members are invited to attend a post-legislative seminar to discuss new legislation that affects community colleges with their peers and college board members, administrators, and staff.
TACCA provides members access to legal resources, such as TASB College eLaw. Members will also receive the monthly TASB Community College Legal Update newsletter, which summarizes legal decisions, regulatory changes, and other information affecting Texas community colleges.
